Animal Forest e+
I started playing a fan-translated version of Animal Forest e+ on my Steam Deck. It brought back a lot of fun memories of my first Animal Crossing game on the GC. ( *ˊᵕˋ)
But whew this game is SO annoying LMAO (>д<). Every edition of AC brought a ton of QOL changes and it's hard to go back to limited inventory, limited storage, limited wallet, and limited commands (open your inventory, drag and drop your shovel onto your character, take it off if you want to shake a tree which requires you to go back to your inventory, drag it off your character and back onto a free slot). Oh, and mailing fossils to get them identified...
BUT this game has so much more charm than later versions. The villagers are enjoyable to talk to (and so mean lmao.. -`д´- ) and it felt like with every new version of AC, the dialog got staler to the point where jock villagers only talked about working out and lazy villagers only talked about snacks and bugs. (；¬д¬)
I haven't figured out how to take screenshots yet LOL so this will do for now... But maybe I'll document my adventures in Pocket and how rude my villagers are.
